Cover in real handmade carbon for the internal part of the turbo 500 Abarth pressure gauge; installable on any original pressure gauge.
VARIANTS:
- inner ring cover (classic carbon or twill);
- lens with scorpion (white background but maintains the color of the light of the pressure gauge model, shift up for example will be orange).
The ring should be applied over the original while the lens is a replacement for the original.
INSTALLATION:
To remove the pressure gauge from the car, you need to move the dome away. It has a screw under the inner arch and two behind the light switch (only the left one is needed to move the housing away from the dashboard); it is recommended to remove the light switch cover to easily access the screws.
The pressure gauge has 3 cross screws behind that hold it inside the dome and the cable to be disconnected.
With the pressure gauge in hand, disassembly is very easy.
To access internally, you need to disassemble the outer ring that holds the glass (only resting) with snap tabs. From here, it is possible to apply the ring cover over the original.
To replace the lens, you need to unscrew 3 other screws on the back of the cover, accessing the electronic board; here is the last screw that holds the internal structure. To remove the lens (resting), it is necessary to disengage the snap tabs from the white part and replace everything.
——
The “twill” model is created with carbon and linen for coloring.
Like all handmade artisanal items, it may have imperfections due to manual nature (weaving, bubbles, dirt, etc.). It is handmade, not vacuum-sealed or baked.
